Installations & Service Contracts:

      ·  Full Installations -

           At Diagnostic Imaging Resources we have extensive experience with installations of Hitachi systems. All of our jobs are accurately completed with full               calibration, shimming and tuning to ensure optimum image quality. 

              Domestic installations require a 50% deposit before work can begin. Installations out of the U.S. require full payment in advance. Site visits outside of               our standard service areas require travel, lodging and local transportation. 
 
      ·  De-installations  -

              De-installations include boxing and bubble wrapping of all parts and system components for safe transportation.  

          Crating, transportation, system rigging, and wrapping of large covers are not included in the basic price. To guarantee proper insurance               requirements, these functions need to be completed by customer authorized riggers and moving companies. Domestic de-installations require a               50% deposit before work can begin. De-installations out of the require full payment in advance. Site visits outside of our standard service areas               require travel, lodging and local transportation.

           Full service contracts include everything needed to keep your system running well with image quality maximized.

Calibration & Tune-up: 

            · PM, Calibration and Tune-up Contract -

                 We guarantee twelve (12) PM visits per year to keep your system running well with image quality maximized, Parts are not included.

            · All Inclusive Labor Only Contract -

                We guarantee twelve (12) PM visits per year, including all troubleshooting, repair, calibration, tune-up, ACR assistance, and everything needed to                  keep your system running well with image quality maximized. Parts are not included.

            · System Image Quality Tune-up - Available at the daily rate

               Includes calibration and adjustment of your system to maximize performance and image quality. Site visits outside of our standard service areas                require travel, lodging and local transportation.

           · ACR Assistance - Available at the daily rate

               Includes all assistance required to ensure ACR compliance: including system evaluation and any adjustments, or calibrations needed to comply with                ACR specifications. ACR phantom scanning and training is completed and ensured for accuracy.

               Site visits outside of our standard service areas require travel, lodging and local transportation.

Site Planning:

            · Site Planning Assistance -

               Telephone, e-mail, remote planning, and consultation are FREE of charge with any installation agreement and payment of deposit.

               On-site visits, to assist with site preparation and planning can be arranged at our daily rate. Site visits outside of our standard service areas require                travel, lodging and local transportation

Magnet Shimming

            · Standard Shimming -

              Systems are shimmed to manufacturer specifications, with emphasis placed on getting the tightest shim possible for your particular magnet.

              Standard shimming is all that is required on 95% of systems. The shimming rate is capped at a maximum of three days. This provides for adequate               time to fine-tune a magnet. Although in the unlikely case that a magnet can not be shimmed, course shimming will be required. This process takes               longer and additional rates apply. Please see the Coarse Shimming information below. Site visits outside of our standard service areas require travel,              lodging and local transportation.

            · Course Shimming -

              A small number of damaged or defective magnets may require intensive course shimming (similar to factory shims done during manufacturing). In               these situations, we will need to first course shim the magnet and then complete the standard shim. The coarse shimming process can take up to six              days, but will maximize the shim of your particular magnet to optimal levels.

System Evaluations

            (recommended before purchasing any used system)
            - Available at the daily rate

            Complete evaluation of system performance and operation to manufacturer specifications. Identifiable defective parts, performance and adjustment             inconsistencies, and overall system performance, will be thoroughly identified, described and listed in the final Site Evaluation Report provided to you.

         · Daily Rate -
